Welcome to “Inside the Glass” and the IBA Review of 2021. Despite the uncertainties of the global pandemic, we have made some exciting progress that supports our collective priority of providing the safest possible environment for the sport of indoor skydiving. Our goal is to help you to enjoy this incredible sport and to be as safe as possible, so here is a look back on how we have supported you this year.

The IBA distinguishes between the sport of indoor skydiving (engaged in by patrons with IBA accounts seeking approval of flight skills though the IBA's Flight Progression System) and recreational flying (engaged in by entertainment customers who do not intend to pursue approval of skills). While indoor skydiving is safe for all ages, the inherent risk of the activity is necessarily greater for those engaging in the sport of indoor skydiving, particularly as they progress through more sophisticated maneuvers.
